Mass-produced products are often driven by demands for higher performance, durability, and easily recognizable updates in form and function.But for whom do these functions really exist?This lighting object was designed as a response to that question.
All components are made from recyclable aluminum, and standardized parts allow the system to adapt to different sizes.By sliding the horizontal pipe left and right, the center of gravity shifts and the position of the light source moves vertically.Rather than allowing unlimited adjustment, the design intentionally leaves moments where the object does not move exactly as expected.

マスプロダクトは、より高性能に、より耐久性を求め、わかりやすい機能や形状の更新が繰り返されている。しかし、その機能は本当に誰のために存在しているのだろうか。この疑問を出発点に設計された照明プロダクト。
すべての素材には再生可能なアルミニウムを使用し、共通部品によって複数のサイズに対応する構成としている。水平パイプを左右に動かすことで重心が変化し、光源の位置が上下する。任意の角度に自由に動くのではなく、思い通りにならない余白を残すことで新しい使い方の可能性を提示している。
