Despite the diversity of body types and postures, the dimensions and angles of chairs have long been standardized throughout history.

This project introduces flexibility to the seat through a mesh surface, allowing it to respond to the body without prescribing a specific way of sitting.To enable this, the supporting structure behind the mesh has been removed, allowing the surface to deform freely as a continuous plane.The frame and mesh are balanced in tension, maintaining structural integrity while adapting to applied loads.

By establishing this as a single structural system, the design enables a high degree of component and construction standardization.
